Trust God with Your Future, Wait for His Best

“Where there is no vision, the people perish;but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”- Proverbs 29:18

Have you ever wished you could see ahead into tomorrow or wished you knew what was coming.?

Even though we can’t see into the future, we can be prepared for it by trusting God to bring us His very best. Grace does not promise the absence of struggle but we can be certain the presence of God is with us to see things through. To let go and trust God, or relinquishing to God has been quite a process for me, but I have come to a place where I don’t want anything for myself that God doesn’t want for me. I know there is no joy and abundant life in settling for something that He doesn’t desire for my life.

I still believe God will grant me the desires of my heart even the ones I have long forgotten about, but what ever He chooses for me I will trust Him either way. When you come to that place of abandonment, the grass always looks greener on the other side. Realize that God’s plans for you may just be far beyond what you have imagined for yourselves. And while your “literal” vision can’t glimpse the unseen tomorrow, prepare for it by staying close to the Lord and spending time in His word. Isaiah spoke these words, “Since the world began, no ear has heard, and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him! You welcome those who gladly do good, who follow godly ways.”  Isaiah 64:4-5

The key while we wait on Him, Isaiah says, is to continue to walk with God, getting on with life and doing good while we remain patient with God’s plan for our life.

Peace and joy come when we trust God with your future.
