When Things Are Difficult...

Know what God’s word says...

“I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” -John 16:22

Are you in a difficult place and feeling miserable, frustrated and unhappy.?

You don’t have to be. By now you should have learned that there are only a few days that will go exactly the way you would like them to go, because of the different things that happen and affect your plans. Right now you need to learn that your joy shouldn’t be based on your circumstances. Find a way to stay happy! EVEN.. when your circumstances don't suit you. Or you still haven’t got the breakthrough you are waiting for as quickly as you wanted. There are so many opportunities in life to lose your joy. You know the enemy is against you.

No matter what  situation you are in God has already given  you the ability to be in it with joy. So choose JOY!  His grace is  available to you each and every day. If God says just for now you have to stay in this situation, then He will give you a special grace, for this season so that you can still experience His peace and joy despite your circumstances. It is really your choice! So stop choosing to be unhappy, miserable, and frustrated. Let others see God’s grace in your life. What does that look like.? Well, it’s that grace that causes other people to look at you and think, I'm just amazed at how they are able to do what they do and still have so much joy and peace. That is how God intends it to be and deep down you know that.

So stop having a pity party and acting as if you don’t think you can make it. God has already equipped you for this journey. Keep Moving Forward with the Joy of the Lord being your Strength. You have His Joy! USE IT!  God’s grace gives us the power to do what we need to do. The enemy is roaming around just waiting to devour, destroy and rob you of joy. -1 Peter 5:8 But!! he can’t steal what Jesus gave to you! Unless you allow him to. Don’t allow him to!

When you feel frustration, misery, or unhappy do you know what it really means.?

It means you’ve stopped relying on God, you’re not leaning on Him like you should, and you’re not receiving His grace. Stop trying to make things happen your own way! Stop having an attitude that says " God, I appreciate You being around, but watch me do this."  The work of your flesh will cause frustration! If you have decided to follow God and listen to Him,(Not Your Flesh) then nothing can take away the joy that is in you. Let God do what God needs to do! Live in total complete dependence on HIM. Concentrate on walking in the Spirit and hold on to the joy He so generously placed in your heart.

Joy will rise up in your soul as you watch God work through you even when things seem hard to handle. Because with God all things are possible.
