Micah 7:19 “Once again you will have compassion on us You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean!"
Have you ever thought about what it means to have your sins cast into the depths of the ocean? The ocean is deep and there are parts that have never been explored. Think about it this way, the deepest part of the ocean is over 36,000 feet below sea level. To put in perspective, if you put Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world, there it would be covered by over a mile of water. No human has never been to that depth. So when God throws your sins to the depths of the ocean He is reminding us that they are gone and forgotten. It is a new day!!!
Make today the day you decide, no more!!! That no more will I let my past mistakes define me. No more will I allow others to hold my past over me. No more will I allow who I used to be to define who I am in Christ. Instead, today I make a commitment to BE who God has called me to be. To live my life as a new creation, crafted in the image of God.
Don’t give up! Remember you were created for a purpose. You are a son or daughter of the King, royalty! You are loved, wanted, worthy, valuable, precious, a friend, forgiven, a chosen generation, mighty, empowered… Become the person God created you to be!
