"And the Road Forks..."

James 1:5 & Proverbs 3:5-6

There are moments, for us all, when we have to make a choice; a choice between two GOOD things.  Weighing the pros and cons, making lists of why we should or shouldn't go either way.  So what should you do?  How do you know which choice is the BEST choice?

Wisdom is defined as "knowledge of what is proper or reasonable:  good sense or good judgement; the natural ability to understand things that most people can not understand; knowledge that is gained by experience."

James 1:5 says "If any of you lacks WISDOM ( in any situation), you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your OWN understanding (but on God's wisdom)  in all your ways, acknowledge God and He will make your path straight."

So, no matter what decisions you face today:  BIG or small, Life-altering or common-place, trust God with your path - He's seen it from beginning to end; pray for wisdom - He really does know-it-all.  He will give you peace about the road you should take and He will keep you straight where you should be!
