You've Got To Have Faith!

“it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” -Hebrews 11:6

When I was younger I remember listening to the song "Faith" by George Michael. The only words that stuck with me are "I've Got to Have Faith" and those words are so true.

I have heard many discussions on "The Power of Confession", or maybe you've heard the term, "Name it and Claim it!" We know that when God spoke He spoke things into existence. In Genesis He said Let there Be Light and there was light. Does God want us to call those things that do not exist into existence. Let's look at what Jesus taught the disciples in Mark 11:22-24 “Then Jesus said to the disciples, Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. I am saying this on my level and hope you teens can relate in your own situations.

Faith says, “I believe that house is mine,” even if the paperwork isn’t in hand. Faith says, “I believe that I have the money that I need,” even when the check book looks different. Faith says, “I believe that my body is healed,” even when the doctor has a very negative report. Faith says, “My children are obedient and faithful,” even when they’re acting up! Faith says, “My marriage is getting stronger,” even when if it looks as though you’re drifting farther apart. When you’re Standing in Faith, you are Agreeing with what God’s Word says, and with how You Prayed about a situation, even when it seems there is no change!

Our entire Christian life is a fight to stay in faith! -1 Timothy 6:12 Living BY Faith is how we overcome the world by faith.-1 John 5:4 God commands us to live a lifestyle of faith, and not on the dependence of our feelings, circumstances, or what the Dr says.- 2 Corinthians 5:7 We should use God's faith in the same way that God uses it.... by speaking!

Notice He says, "whoever will say." That means the promise is not to EVERYONE. It IS to anyone that will "say!" the Bible makes it clear that once you believe, you must confess, or speak, the thing that you believe. Even in being saved, we follow the process of believing in our heart, and confessing with our mouth. Speaking the Word brings God's power and authority on all problems!

God’s WORD is TRUE!

The bible says to keep your gaze on unseen things, the promises of God, and keep your eyes on the promises until they are manifested for all to see.- 2 Corinthians 4:18 We are to trust the Lord with all our hearts, and we are not to trust in our thinking abilities or any of our own natural abilities apart from God’s Word. No Matter What and No Matter The Time Frame!- Proverbs 3:5-6

If you want to be "prosperous," and "have good success," then you should meditate on God's Word! Then, what you have stored in your heart speak out of your mouth... and that word, God's Word, will have the power within itself to cause itself to come to pass!

When we choose to live by faith, we please God so much.-Hebrews 11:6
