What's In Your Hands?

“And the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod.” -Exodus 4:2

A football in Peyton Manning’s hands produced five time league MVP.

A ball in Michael Jordan’s hands produced 6 championship rings. A paint brush in  Leonardo da Vinci's hands produced famous paintings. A bible in the hands of Billy Graham spread the gospel around the world.  A rod in Moses’ hands parted the Red Sea. A sling shot and one stone in David’s hands defeated the giant. Nails in the hands of Jesus produced salvation for the world. All of these men have impacted the history of our world.

The bible says “Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of — infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.” -Ephesians 3:20

What is in your hands? What can you use today to impact the world around you?

No matter how ordinary you think you are it only takes one ordinary person’s life to make an extraordinary impact on the world.

Stop sitting on your hands and waiting for time and chance to happen. You already possess everything that you need to reach your destiny.  The Bible says, “All the days planned for me were written in your book before I was one day old” -Psalm 139:16 The Lord has already empowered you to prosper. Don’t miss what the Lord wants to do just because everything is not right in front of you. He will give you the grace and the resources you need to make it work on your behalf. He has already placed on your path, the right people and resources to get the job done. Move out on what you have in your hands now, with faith. Rely on God. He will never give you a dream without the proper resources to bring that dream to pass. When you rely on God to help you impact the world, His power will start to work through you in your neighborhood, workplace, and everywhere else you go – impacting the world around you significantly. So step out in faith and begin to maximize what has been placed in your hands and watch that dream turn into reality.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” -Ephesians 2:10

Father God, thank you for equipping me with everything I need for life and godliness. Thank you for the seeds that you have placed in me to bring forth prosperity in my life. I do not want to sit on those gifts and talents, but I want to allow them to come to full maturity and bring glory to your name. In Your Name I pray, Amen.
