Where Feet May Fail

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. Psalm 143:10

Have you ever listened to a song and taken the time to really think about the words you are singing.? Words have power, it’s important that you know the meaning of what you are saying. One of my favorite songs is by Hillsong, I’m sure you have heard of it. “OCEANS” I remember singing it repeatedly before God opened the doors for a wonderful adventure with Him to learn about true love. I remember reading the lyrics and truly meaning what I was saying and making that song my prayer. “Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders.” He did and now knowing He will there have been times I have been reluctant to sing the lyrics again. Another song is “Bless Me” Praying for God to enlarge my territory. I know He responded before and not knowing what He may want to do next...kinda weighs on my mind. But then I remind myself I said I want more and if I want more like I claim to, then I have to be willing to do all things through Christ who gives me strength. No matter how deep the water is, even where my feet may fail, my faith will stand strong and my trust will grow.

Peter was the only one who stepped off the boat and walked out with Jesus. There were others on the boat too and because of their lack of faith and trust they missed their blessing. Don’t be afraid, trust God, and go wherever He is calling you to go and do what He is calling you to do. Keep giving. Keep Pushing. Let Him Grow your Trust and Faith. DON’T MISS YOUR BLESSING!  Do what it is He would have you to do. Your feet may fail but God is with you and your faith will be made stronger. Let Him Lead you where your trust is without borders. What do have to lose when there is so much more to gain.? Pursue the desires that you believe God has given you, and be willing to submit to God’s direction. God has never failed you and He won’t start now.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do,  and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6
